We recognise the value of a number of different qualifications that our students study, some of which could count towards your UCAS tariff points and ultimately lead to you securing a place with us. Please check your qualifications on the or for a full list, please check the UCAS tariff table.  

If you call us to ask about Clearing vacancies, make sure you mention any additional qualifications to our hotline staff. This will help us make a full assessment of your application and might improve your chances of entry. 

The table below provides you with some of the more popular additional qualifications, but don't be alarmed if yours isn’t there. There are a range of other qualifications we accept which our call handlers can confirm.

If none of the Level 3 qualifications you are studying carry tariff points, we may still consider an application from you. Please complete our Northumbria Clearing Application Form from the 5 July and we will contact you with an update or to discuss your individual circumstances.
