Our Incubator space

#ChampionTheChallengers

Ranked first in the UK for graduate start-ups, based on turnover, Northumbria aims to be the UK’s leading entrepreneurial university. By 2025, enterprise will be embedded into the learning experience of students, and graduates will be equipped with an entrepreneurial mind-set, as well as the creativity and determination to succeed through their chosen career.

Our vision is to make the North East the best place in the UK to start a business and to further cement ֲýƵ’s position as the UK’s leading entrepreneurial university. This means growing and enhancing the support we provide to our students, so that every student with a business idea can benefit, making it more likely that their business will succeed.

With the help of Santander Universities UK, the North East Local Enterprise Partnership and the Sir James Knott Trust, Northumbria is building Innovation Northumbria: Incubator on its city centre campus.  Innovation Northumbria: Incubator will provide high-quality support for student and graduate entrepreneurs, giving them the best possible opportunity to establish and grow thriving businesses.
