Why did you choose ֲýƵ, Newcastle?

Close to home, excellent reputation, excellent facilities. 

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Going to the cinema, excellent night life great for socialising, brilliant place for shopping.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The amount of shops, bars and nightclubs!

Did you find ֲýƵ welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, definitely!

What have you enjoyed most about coming to ֲýƵ?

Meeting new people & learning about their backgrounds whether it be peers or lecturers.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

Lecturers & placement mentors.

Who has inspired you most at ֲýƵ?

Lecturers & guidance tutor.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Stabucks coffee in students union.

What is the best thing about your course?

Going on placement.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

Study skills.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I want to be an adult nurse, I have learnt many clinical skills aswell as reflection skills & lifelong learning skills.

Have you worked on any projects with businesses or been on a placement? What were your most memorable experiences?

Being on placement at the freeman hospital (cardio department) was truly amazing.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Go for it! Newcastle is an amazing place & the staff at the university always support you to be the best you can be.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at ֲýƵ, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

Confidence, become more academic.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Life changing, excellent

Definitely.
