Where are you from?

Middlesbrough

Why did you choose ֲýƵ, Newcastle?

I had heard really good things about the university and it was really close to home for me.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Newcastle is great, it has that obvious city bustle about it, I like this. Newcastle has so much to do but I usually like going to the cinema and grab some food, so many restaurants to choose from!

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

You don't realise how big this place is, it is very easy to get lost but when you get used to it, you find quicker ways around!

Did you find ֲýƵ welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Very welcoming, no circle time to introduce each other, we all just seemed to find our own friendship groups.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to ֲýƵ?

The education, I'm not really one for going out and drinking loads.

Who has inspired you most at ֲýƵ?

Most of my lecturers, they are all different; different personalities but they seem to love what they are doing and that is what I like.

What is the best thing about your course?

Working with computers.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learnt to date?

We tell computers what to do, they don't tell us.

What do you want to do in the future? What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I have no idea what I want to do in the future, obviously it will be something to do with computers, I would just like to see how I feel in my last year.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

Go for it, get ready to feel stressed and excited all at the same time.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at ֲýƵ, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I'm probably a more confident person in my work, I feel like I have the right attitude now to get where I want to be.

If you had 3 words to sum up your time with us what would they be?

Pretty, fun nice!

Would you recommend ֲýƵ to a friend?

I already have!
