Why did you choose �ֲ���ý��Ƶ, Newcastle?

Really good modern languages course as focuses on interpretation/translation with an excellent employability rate at the end.

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

Amazing nightlife, loads to do in the city so you can never get bored.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

I don't miss home at all even though I am quite far away.

Did you find �ֲ���ý��Ƶ welcoming?  Was it easy to fit in?

Yeah especially the modern languages' drinks night during the first week, it was easy to meet friends on my course.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to �ֲ���ý��Ƶ?

The course is ideal and it's in a perfect location being right in the city centre.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

My guidance tutor.

Who has inspired you most at �ֲ���ý��Ƶ?

My Spanish lecturer.

What is your favourite place on campus?

Student's union habita.

Have you joined any sports teams, clubs or been involved in any volunteer projects?  Tells us about the highlights?

Took part in routes into languages where we go to schools in the North East and persuade year 8s/9s to continue with languages.

What is the best thing about your course?

The language labs/translation sessions have really improved my language skills.

What do you want to do in the future?  What skills have you learned/improved that you think will be of most use in your future career?

I'd love to be an interpreter or work for the European Union.

Have you taken up any opportunities to travel with your current course/undertake field trips?  If so, please tell us about them.

Applied to be an Au pair in Madrid for this summer to improve my spanish.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

The most important thing is if you can get a job at the end and the employability rates are excellent for Northumbria, especially for language graduates. 

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at �ֲ���ý��Ƶ, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

More confident to speak french with french students on campus as everyone is so nice, not worried about making language mistakes.
