Why did you choose ֲýƵ, Newcastle?

When I came to study in the UK, Newcastle is the most suitable city for me, offering a very reasonable living costs. I did research and found out that ֲýƵ has a very good reputation and in terms of rankings too. My choice was true because the University offers me with the best business knowledge and moreover the teaching environment is always warm and I feel like home!

What do you think of Newcastle and our region and what are your favourite things to do?

My favorite things to do is jogging around the Gateshead Millennium Bridge and feeling the breeze in the morning or evening. I also hang out at museums and parks with my friends.

What has surprised you most about living in Newcastle and this region? What has impressed you most?

The lovely weather.

Did you find ֲýƵ welcoming? Was it easy to fit in?

Yes, I found it very welcoming.

What have you enjoyed most about coming to ֲýƵ?

The friends that I have made. They are too friendly and we are united.

Who has helped you most since you came to Northumbria?

I have always been given help when I am in need.

Who has inspired you most at ֲýƵ?

My language teacher from First year, Stephen Parkin. He is always cheerful and happy.

What is your favourite place on campus?

City Campus.

What is the best thing about your course?

My friends and teachers.

If you could offer some advice to students thinking of coming to study here what would you say?

I would say it is one of the best universities that will make you feel like home.

How do you feel you have changed as a person since being at ֲýƵ, Newcastle (e.g. confidence)?

I have achieved my self confidence now because of my teachers, who always encourage me to speak my opinions.
